Through the Herald Student Reporters, I was able to deepen my interest in journalism. I honed my skills through practical experience and learned how to carefully analyze stories or narratives each time I encountered a news article. I realized how important it is to compare reliable academic sources with various news sources while conducting my own research.

In particular, the first time I included a speculation at the end of my article and that speculation turned out to be true was an unforgettable moment. It greatly helped me to thoroughly understand the processes behind journalism.

It has been a great honor to work with the Herald Student Reporters, providing me with the opportunity to improve and refine my abilities. The process of conducting research, writing, editing, and communicating while receiving feedback from editorial was truly valuable. I sincerely hope that the Herald Student Reporters continue to grow alongside passionate student journalists and publish many articles in the future.
